As part of his Best and Worst of 2013 list, Michael Fairman of On Air, On Soaps named Brooks' debut as Wyatt as Best New Character (Male). He praised, "Brooks brought his charm, sex appeal, and acting chops to B&B after winning a Daytime Emmy a few years ago on DAYS, and working in primetime. Now back on soaps, Brook’s Mr. Fuller is really making a case for Hope (Kim Matula) to be with him … instead of wishy-washy Liam (Scott Clifton)!"[1]
