Born in Rochester, NY, to British parents, moved back to Blighty when a toddler and grew up in London. I was a precocious reader at three years old. Recently moved to Lincoln, UK, with my husband and our two children. Worked for De-Beers as a diamond sorter on leaving school, then for Hillingdon Borough Libraries (ahh books!). Some of my other interests are gaming, music production, puzzles (not jigsaw), cooking and ancient history. I find correcting typos addictive and soothing.
