The United Kingdoms of Scandinavia, also presented as the Scandinavian Union, is the hypothetical and possible future union of Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Other possible inclusions to such a union would be Finland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands and Greenland.

If Danmark has rights over the North pole this will also be included. If this ever will happen with a State union it well be the 10th biggest economy in the world.

A similar union, the Kalmar Union, existed from 1397 to 1523, but with each country having it's own legislature, language and government system, sharing only the head of state and flag. Such a union has been discussed several times, both in fictional and non-fictional works, as a possible solution to political pressure from the EU, Norway of which is the only non-member of the Nordic countries, and the desire to create a greater Scandinavian "super-state", similar to the United States of America, and other former, current and future entities.

The countries have many common traits, such as governing systems, similar languages and flags, aswell as the same currency and several other laws and regulations, making the union an easy one to both found and uphold.
