Ojo Matthew Opeyemi (born 12 July 2000), known professionally as Lil Merthex (and also WAYDT) is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist. He records in Yoruba and English. In 2018, he released his debut studio single Getting High. He has also released series of singles in the later year 2020 titled Maforoloka and he have been coming up with hit in the present year with his latest single Go Hard . He has also been on a series of featuring on Love For You feat. Emtraap, My Baby Feat. Mide Bliss, Lori Iro Feat. Dopest and lots more.
Early life and musical beginnings edit
Ojo Matthew Opeyemi was born in Ikire, Osun State, on the 12th of July, 2000. He is the fifth of the three children of Pa Ojo W.A and his second wife, Idowu Ojo.
Lil Merthex started his career when he released the debut single, "Getting High," in 2018. He studied Science Lav Technology at Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti
