I'm originally from Milano, but I'm not there since 1985. Since then, I've been leaving in Mozambique in a very peculiar period, in the Northern Niassa plateau in a small city isolated by the civil war: Lichinga; after that, I was based in Roma while jumping among some countries where I was in charge of overseeing a number of rural development projects, following that I tried to find a longer term shelter in Southern Brazil in Curitiba. Nowadays, I'm much more stable and my trips are just around the Mediterranean. I have a son and a daughter, one of them is active in Wikipedia much more than myself - and he was the one who pushed me to face the responsibility to take care of it and contribute with some piece of knowledge, time and goodwill.
