Hello! I'm LesTP.

I'm a self-employed writer, designer, and web developer. I've operated my own marketing practice for 16+ years and work from home.

I'm grateful for my wife of 15 years. We have three kids aged 14, 11, and 9—and live in a first circle suburb of a rust-belt city.

I write and edit a fair amount of copy, and love helping business owners tell their stories. I've found that when it comes to story-telling for business, there's always room for improvement. It all starts with the story. Most businesses talk too much about themselves, and not enough about their customers. I guide them to affirm their customer's worldview, and then help them tell their story from their customer's perspective.

I'm interested in history and language, as well as religion and spirituality. And food as medicine, sustainable living, and small business (which happen to coincide with the triple bottom line of people, planet, and profit).

I've traced my ancestry back to North Yorkshire, England in the 1300's—my earliest ancestor was a man-at-arms for Henry Bolingbroke or Henry IV, a.k.a. "Hotspur" in the Scottish Marches. My ancestors left England a generation or so after Henry VIII's Act of Supremacy and the Dissolution of the Monasteries. My first ancestor in America came to Jamestown, Virginia on the Sea Venture in 1610. From there they moved to Kentucky, and finally settled in Missouri prior to the founding of the state. I'm the seventh generation of my family born in Boone County, Missouri, an area known as Little Dixie ("More Dixie than Dixie").

After 14 generations in America, I am the first Catholic in my family since the 1500's. I have a special devotion to St. Therese of Lisieux, and to St. Josemaria Escriva. I have a great desire to be a better husband, father, worker... and to make an impact by doing my work well.

Any questions, please ask.
