"The Choices" is the 6th episode of the 5th season and the 162nd episode overall of the British-American animated-sitcom The Amazing World of Gumball. The Episode premiered on Cartoon Network in the United States on October 13, 2016 and in the United Kingdom on November 7, 2016. In this episode, during a disastrous dinner at home, Nicole flashes back to her childhood, where she first met Richard while trying to make it to a karate tournament, and wonders what life would be like if she never met him.
It was written by Nathan Auerbach, Daniel Berg, Ben Bocquelet, Jon Foster, James Lamont, Joe Parham, and Tobi Wilson and storyboarded by Adrian Maganza. The episode had an estimate of 1.15 million viewers in the United States on the day of its premiere.[1] The episode received generally positive reviews and is the highest rated episode of the series with a 9.7/10 on IMDb.
