Lemon900 - A Googlecentric World

Googlecentricism - As an emerging phenomena, Googlecentricism is a new reality that has yet to be fully understood as well as fully recognized. Googlecentricism is a worldview dominating the millennial and post-millennial generations. Such a world view is characterized by, what can be called, "epistemological serendipity", and, ironically enough, "epistemological accountability".

Epistemological serendipity is fundamentally and simultaneously a deconstructing of institutionalized and legitimized knowledge and at the same time an emerging of alternative perspectives of knowledge. Epistemological serendipity is fundamentally an emerging of new knowledge.

Epistemological accountability is a new reality emerging as a by-product of googlecentricism. Epistemological accountability stresses the non-regulated and deconstructed nature of new knowledge, which emerges as a result of the simultaneous deconstruction of institutionalized knowledge and the emergence of new knowledge. While epistemological accountability does not necessarily negate the validity of institutionalized knowledge, it does suggest, however, that the process of legitimization of knowledge has undergone a drastic shift.
