"Gene Vincent was never huge, but in many ways he's the biggest." Lux Interior. The History Of Rock 1980

"And guess I'd do It all again if I were young enough- well, most of it. I'd certainly go along with being a Rock 'n' Roll singer, but Korea?" Record-Mirror-1976-02-28

the author fails to explain why Vincent could go on doing pretty successful tours around the world, while in the same time having an almost disastrous record on the charts : in the USA, he charted 5 times only, twice in the top 20, in GB, where he was more successful, he had 4 top 20 hits, never entering the top 10
