Janice Rachel Brenman (born (1974-05-15)May 15, 1974) is an American lawyer and columnist.

Ms. Brenman is a former prosecutor now in private practice in Los Angeles, California. She has commented in major legal publications on the subject of legal reform and celebrity influence on the legal system. She has also appeared in medical malpractice, products liability and complex civil litigation, and is well versed in all forms of discovery. Currently, Ms. Brenman is associated with the Los Angeles law firm of Fleming, Greenwald & Associates. From 1999 to 2000, she was a City Prosecutor and Community Preservationist. She clerked for the Honorable Rupert J. Groh, Jr., of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Ms. Brenman also worked researching, writing and editing under a Nobel Prize winning laureate.

Ms. Brenman graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of California, Santa Barbara, studied at the Sorbonne in Paris, and went to Southwestern University School of Law where she received several awards and accolades. She was a finalist in the Moot Court Honors Award for Best Brief Writer, president of the Southwestern Federalist Society Chapter, an officer in the Women’s Law Association, member of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society and published in February 1998 issue of The Commentator. Her work has been published in several other outlets, including the San Francisco Daily Journal, Los Angeles Daily Journal and the Washington Legal Foundation.

Ms. Brenman is admitted to practice by the State Bar of California and Central District of California. She is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and NOSSCR. Working through her alma mater, Southwestern University Law School, Ms. Brenman has mentored several law students. She is also a volunteer for Bet Tzedek (House of Justice). She is a former Tae Kwon Do instructor at United Studios in San Francisco, and trained for her first degree black belt with the World Organization. She is fluent in French, Italian and Spanish, and proficient in Hebrew.
