iGrad is a website that was founded by a group of former financial aid professionals. The site provides free tools and online content that aim to assist college students and recent college graduates. In addition to offering financial tools, a job search, video and written content, iGrad also administers Entrance and Exit counseling for students with federal student loans. [1]

Events

On April 28, 2010, iGrad sponsored a roundtable on the future of higher education and online degrees at the University of California San Diego. Author and speaker Anya Kamenetz was the special guest panelist. Other panelists included members of San Diego's academic community including Monte Ransome Johnson(UCSD), Dr. Carl Kalani Beyer (National University), Dr. Allison Rossett(San Diego State University), and Joe Safdie (San Diego Mesa Community College). Awards

In July 2010, iGrad was awarded Discovering Startups' Best-Of Monthly Winner for July. The company received the most votes ever fora Discovering Startups winner. [3]
