Currently a senior citizen who traveled extensively in his 20s and 30s touring in music and theater. Later he returned to journalism, a vocation first entered into during the mid-1960s as a high school junior in newspaper and broadcast radio. As a professional, served as reporter, writer, columnist, and editor having been employed and published in many newspapers including the Houston Chronicle, Houston Post, Austin American Statesman, Beaumont Enterprise, as well as time with Associated Press, United Press International, and national newspapers USA Today and the Wall Street Journal. Made his permanent home in the Texas city of his youth. Presently employed as station manager for a 100,000 watt FM radio station.
