User:LaserLegs/Anyone can edit

Wikipedia is The Free Encyclopedia that "anyone can edit", and in fact WP:BOLD insists Fix it yourself instead of just talking about it.. The thing is, not everyone is adept at reading sources and summarizing them into coherent prose. So what does that mean? Is there no value in tagging bad refs, removing libelous content, fixing spelling errors, updating categories, or other mundane administrative tasks? Is the only value at the project writing prose updates to articles, and are those who do that superior to all others? Wikipedia doesn't have a threshold for minimum participation.
