Hello, I am LarrysgirlStubby. I'm seeking some information about past NYC Mayor Fiorello La Guardia. Back in the 1930's when La Guardia was in office my father-in-law, Manuel Diaz, hand rolled cigars for him. I have two (now deceased) brothers-in-law who had distinct memories of putting their father's unique identifying bands on these cigars. I would so like to try to find a photo of one of these bands being this is a lost family art. My father-in-law's father had one of the 100+ cigar shops in Ybor City, Florida in the 1920's. The family originally migrated from Valencia, Spain during one of many migration waves to Cuba. In time they migrated yet again settling in Tampa, FL where my father-in-law was born. Anyone who has information on how I could possibly find one of these old cigar bands would be greatly appreciated.
