The article on Geomicrobiology definitely needs improvement. The image on the right hand side of the Wiki page does not seem to be directly related to the main topic of the article. Many claims need referencing. Further enrichment of some parts of the article with more recent bits of information is required. Some of the external links appear to come from a non-scientific source.

Few sections lack any referencing. References are not used in some obvious cases (where information was drawn from a non-common knowledge source).
