- ^ Using the explicit {{flag}} template for Great Britain/UK instead of
{{GBR}}renders text that says "Great Britain" but still links to the United Kingdom which is what is relevant for nationality in most cases. This is useful if the text "Great Britain" is needed for sports purposes such as Davis Cup, Fed Cup, the Olympics, etc - ^ Links to the island of Great Britain which is not relevant to nationality and is useless in most cases
- ^ Result is identical to using
