A Local Storm Report or "LSR" is a product issued by the United States National Weather Service. Local Storm Reports contain information about a report of significant weather observed at a location, including the type and magnitude of weather observed, the time and date it was observed, the source of the report, and the number of fatalities and injuries known to have been caused by the event.

            STORM SURVEY REVEALED THAT AN EF-5 TORNADO IMPACTED A 
            LARGE PORTION OF THE CITY OF JOPLIN. WIND SPEEDS WERE 
            ESTIMATED IN EXCESS OF 200 MPH. THE PATH WIDTH WAS 
            ESTIMATED AT THREE QUARTERS OF A MILE WIDE.
