I am the founder of the Haitian Creole Language Institute of New York, a space dedicated to the study of the Haitian Creole Language. HCLI is focused entirely on shifting the image of the Haitian Creole Language to a more positive space! I also teach Haitian Creole as part of the Indigenous and Diasporic Language Consortium at New York University at the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies.
