I am a Graduate student in the Computation, Organizations and Society program at the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. My adviser is Kathleen Carley. I did my undergraduate work in Computer Science and the Chinese language at the University of Michigan.

My research focus is on understanding and modeling how we use different communication media to pass information, beliefs and social support. I also have spent time working to speed up the process of Social Simulation, something I find to be an interesting problem.

In my free time, I enjoy playing sports, particularly hockey and Jiu Jitsu, volunteering, and relaxing.
