Designercafe

Designercafe is a concept store brand where limited collections of young Dutch fashion designers are produced, exposed and sold ^[1].

Based in Utrecht, Netherlands ^[2], DesignerCafe was founded in 2010 to support Dutch designers and create jobs through a unique fashion store concept^[3], offering ready-to-go items, custom made designer outfits produced by the local production department, and patterns and fabrics to create your own outfits. DesignerCafe works with a team of 12 designers, who prepare their collections with a common vision: flexible, adaptable, comfortable, stylish, sober and exclusive ^[4].

The innovative concept store creates a fashion environment where workshops, social events and exhibitions are held in the same location ^[5].

DesignerCafe is an investment being supported by the Dutch local government of Utrecht and the European Fund For Regional Development of the European Commission.
