Kings Lodge was a New York State family-owned African-American resort created in 1937 as a result of discriminatory practices in the resort industry at that time. Kings Lodge was the first African-American-owned summer resort in the Catskill mountains of upstate New York. It closed in 2001.

During the 1930s and beyond African-Americans who wanted to vacation in upstate New York's Catskill region often were not allowed to stay at hotels located in the region due to discriminatory practices of the time. Marcellus C. Owen and his wife created Kings Lodge as a destination point for African-Americans who might otherwise not be able to vacation in that area. The resort was a success and continued through three successive generations of family owners and thousands of visitors. It was closed in January 2001.
