Kath Rothschild is a professor of English Composition at St. Mary's College of California and a young adult author. Her first novel, Hope and Other Feathered Things, is from Soho Teen. In academia, she writes on civil liberties pedagogy, feminist rhetorics, and knowledge transfer at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she is earning a doctorate in Composition and Applied Linguistics (CANDAL).
