Infinity Blade is an action-adventure video game developed by Chair, a developer based in Salt Lake City, Utah specifically for Apple's iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices. It features a mix of action, adventure, and RPG elements, and is notable for being the first iDevice game powered by Unreal Engine 3.

Development

edit

First announced at the September 2010 Apple Conference (at the time the game was referred to by its development code-name, "Project Sword") the game demo showed sword fighting combat and online multiplayer using Apple's new GameCenter interface.[1]

The game was later announced to be titled "Infinity Blade" and a trailer debuted in October 2010 on GameTrailers.com. [2]

The game is slated to be available on the iPhone holiday 2010.

Gameplay

edit

The game is a third-person action title, featuring a knight who battles various enemy monsters in a castle environment. It features RPG elements, including a leveling system, weapon and item pickups, and customizable characters.
