Born on 26th October 1983, in West Bengal (India), Kalyan Choudhury is a Nature and Wildlife photographer, based in New Delhi (India). Kalyan was fond of photography ever since his tender age, whilst having Kodak film camera, but he discovered the zeal for photography in himself, only when he made his first road trip to Himachal Pradesh, whilst working in an IT MNC as a software engineer in 2009, and carried the skill further to next level. The photographer has several international recognition under his belt including "People and Planet", "Africa Geographic" etc. He's a regular contributor to Wikimedia commons, and many of his images are currently used by Wikipedia pages. Kalyan has been volunteering to Empower Foundation, a Mumbai based NGO, as an author as well as photographer. He is also passionate for mountaineering and conducts adventure and wildlife photography tours and sessions on regular basis.
