Jeff Woodrow is a social entrepreneur and founder of Joy Apparel, an international e-commerce project that is aimed at promoting peace and equality on a global scale. For his work, Jeff has been recognized internationally and he was awarded the 2010 St. Jerome’s University Alumni of the Year Award. In addition, he has a wealth of experience working in the film/media industry, adding numerous animation and documentary projects to his credit. Now as an educator, Jeff Woodrow desires to impart his love of art and technology onto his students, not just as a teacher but also as an artist, passionate about his profession. Instructionally, Jeff likes to use a variety of multi-media tools to help create dynamic lessons that are engaging. He is also very interested in using assistive technology and a flipped classroom approach in his curriculum to help his students achieve their learning goals. Jeff is a also a graduate student at the Ontario College of Art and Design in the Masters of Inclusive Design Program. Outside of the classroom, Jeff's enjoyment and passions include: cycling, photography, squash, yoga, cooking, art & design, culture, film, volunteering, backgammon, stop-motion animation.
