Derek Brown ...
Derek Levi Brown (born August 4, 1981 in Oklahoma City, OK) is an American musician. He is a multi-instrumentalist for The Flaming Lips.
Derek joined The Flaming Lips in 2009. His first show with the band was at the Pitchfork Festival in Chicago, IL on July 19, 2009.
Additionally, he has been a touring member for Liz Phair, Steve Burns, Starlight Mints, and Chainsaw Kittens. He also has his own band, the synthpop project Crocodile, which is based in Oklahoma City.
