Julian Waters (b. 1957) is a calligrapher, type designer and teacher. He was born in Hampshire, England and moved with his parents Sheila Waters and Peter Waters to the United States in 1971. He attended Montgomery College MD, studied with his parents and with Hermann Zapf, the legendary German calligrapher and type designer.
