Hi I am Christina and am pleased to have finally joined Wikipedia. I represented New Zealand in "The Great Jukung Race" 1989 from Bali to Darwin in traditional hand carved Balinese Jukungs... there were 9 Jukungs with 2 people(18 in total) representing various countries- Indonesia, France, USA, Australia, Germany, Japan, NZ,Holland,England. A documentary "Passage out of Paradise" was made about this....an epic 3 month sailing adventure where all 18 of us miracously survived...especially the trecherous 5 day Arafura sea crossing to Darwin. To date there is minimal written documentation about this journey and I am wanting to know if I can provide some information about this journey on Wikipedia. Currently I am self employed-residing in NZ. My interests are travel, snow skiing and adventure.
