Welcome to WikiProject American Microstates. Only one New Jerseyan has formed this "WikiProject" dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of American microstates (no, not those countries in the Caribbean) and the organization of information and articles on these states. This page contains no suggestions nor various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic. If you would like to help, please add yourself as a participant in the project, inquire on the talk page, and see the to-do list, below.

Scope
editThe 9 smallest U.S. states by area:
- Rhode Island
- New Hampshire
- New Jersey
- Connecticut
- Massachusetts
- Hawaii
- Vermont
- Delaware
- Maryland
The following are not in the scope:
- Larger U.S. states by area with a smaller population than any of the states listed above (e.g. Wyoming)
- Sovereign states in the Lesser Antilles
