Article Evaluation: Fake News Article: The article contains information that seems to all be relevant to the topic. Fake news is a huge and growing topic. The article seems fairly neutral. That being said, it makes several references to claims from President Trump of American media regularly reporting fake news. It states that these claims have increased distrust of American Media and have also given credibility to the Russian claims that most all American media reports are fake. It goes on to say that a Syracuse professor states that Trump uses this term for any news not favorable to the President (or that he simply dislikes). This idea (though only mentioned in a couple paragraphs) appears somewhat overrepresented and can be received as bias. The citations that I checked all worked (NY times for example), but there were a few citations that I could not access without a username and password to that database. Each fact that I read has appropriate citations. The Talk Page contains several types of conversations and some of them are as follows: false fake news, history of fake news, article organizations, “Involvement of Social Media” and “Response” sections (possibly being added), and usage of the term.  The article is highly rated with a lot of adjustments having been made. It uses a small amount of bias which is different then the way we have discussed in class on how to present a topic.
