Leeds University Ice Hockey Club (Leeds Gryphons) is the first ever Ice Hockey club at the University of Leeds, founded in 2015. LUUIHC is a mixed gender sports club, welcoming those of all abilities.

We hold weekly training sessions held at Bradford Ice Arena on Saturday's @ 10:30pm to 12:00am with informal skating on Wednesday's 12:00pm till 3:30pm during public sessions. The ice rink is 5 min walk from Bradford Interchange station. Trains from Leeds run frequently, taking 20 mins from each end.

We are a member of the British Universities Ice Hockey Association (BUIHA) which is the governing body for university ice hockey, regulating our games and providing officials and insurance.

The league allows students and staff of any Leeds based institution studying at level 4 or higher (degree level) to be able to join and play, this also includes staff members of The University of Leeds.
