MegaZebra is a European social network game developer and distributer located in Munich, Germany. [1] The company develops browser-based free to play games for social networks like Facebookand is now publishing [2] games from other European developers, i.e. from the German based skill-gaming firm Tipp24games. MegaZebra pioneered the social gaming space in Europe in late 2008. Behind MegaZebra is the team around Henning Kosmack (CEO), Christian Meister (CD), Steffen Rusitschka (CTO), and Mark Gazecki (Chairman). [4] Since then, MegaZebra developed several games and at the moment 19 MegaZebra games are available on Facebook. [5]

With Mahjong Trails [6] they launched their first game, reaching more than two million monthly players. [7] The company is backed by the founders of Web.de through Kizoo Technology Ventures in September 2009. [8]

According to AppData, in Januar 2011 MegaZebra is one of the top 25 fastest growing developers on Facebook, [9] reaching more than 4 million monthly users and 0.7 million daily users, [5] and is among the Top 3 European developers in terms of daily active users.
