I like learning about valency and transitivity, but it seems that the pages on this topic are either not well done or not linked well. This space is therefore going to be used to help me solve some of these problems.
Pages that fall under this category edit
All of these have been added to Category:Transitivity and valency
- Changing valency or something similar. A new page is needed for sure!
-
- Category:Grammatical voices—This is its own category. No need to change this too much.
Creating a new category edit
See Help:Category, Wikipedia:Categorization, and similar pages for help on the topic.
Created the Category:Transitivity and valency.
Sidebar edit
I've created a sidebar to help navigate and group the pages together. For help pages, see Wikipedia:Navigation templates and Template:Sidebar.
The sidebar can be found here: Template:Transitivity and Valency
Possible new pages edit
Extended transitives and intransitives: mentioned in Changing valency, ch. 4 with the Motuna language.
Contributions edit
Pages added to Category:Transitivity and valency edit
Since pages typically shouldn't be both parent and daughter categories, some of these have been removed from Category:Verb types.
