Rural sports article
I just read your excellent job with Basque rural sports. The article needs some wikifying and developement but it's a great basic article. I've added an intro line and linked it from Basque people.
Welcome to the Basque WikiProject, you seem a promising incorporation. --Sugaar 06:27, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
Image tagging for Image:Monsoor.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Monsoor.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Naval Chapel
Hi just wanted to let you know that the link is dead to one of your references on the Naval Academy Chapel article. --WilsBadKarma (Talk/Contribs) 23:26, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Herndon Monument
I understand that you want to keep Herndon Monument times on the proper page. But that page is in error and I will be correcting it soon. Just so you know, I am a graduate of USNA and a member of the Class of 1998. And I know for a fact (since I was there) that my class had the longest time to climb Herndon. Not the Class of 1995.
Hi. It's not necessary to blank a talk page as you did at Talk:John R. Ryan. Leaving comments, even your own, for others to see can help address concerns of others, and let them know the progress of a topic. Only when a thread or entire talk page becomes too long is archiving recommended. It's not a big deal, but I reverted it and wanted to let you know my reasoning. Thanks for your efforts and happy editing! - CobaltBlueTony 16:25, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
- I did not see it necessary to keep my comment on that page seeing as how the problem was dealt with without the help from that comment. I will keep your concern in mind in the future. --Joebengo 19:14, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
Herndon
Oh, it was a blast! Four hours by the bay. I see on page that you are applying to USNA? How is that going? Are you applying anywhere else?
I put a link on the Herndon Monument page which gives some times but not nearly all.
Thanks for understanding how important (if silly) such things are to some of us!
Good luck in your USNA application!
Happy New Year
The "replaceable fair use disputed" tag should be on the image page, not the talk page. I put it there for you. But you should have added a fair use rationale to the image when you uploaded. Please do that ASAP if you feel the image has a proper fair use rationale. Please also add the source and copyright information. -- Paddu 17:27, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
Please do not move pages by cutting and pasting the contents. If you want to change the title, please follow the policies and procedures outlined at Wikipedia:How to rename (move) a page. Thank you. —David Levy 05:04, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
Your usage of {{Uw-blockN}} templates
Hi, I notice that you have been using the {{Uw-blockN}} templates on vandals. You should not use them as you are not an admin and can not implement the block. Instead, please report the vandal to WP:AIV and let the blocking admin add the appropriate blocked notification. Also, you should use the subst: keyword when inserting warnings. -- Gogo Dodo 23:22, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
- Re your message: No problem. Thanks for helping out with reverting vandals. =) -- Gogo Dodo 23:30, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Gene Klaus, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Mhking 00:10, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Teddynorthmont.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Teddynorthmont.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Re: NJROTC
Personally, I would concentrate on improving the main article before branching out. FMF|contact 01:03, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
Flag
Hello, as you may have noticed, I changed the flag of Georgia. The flag you previously had was the flag of the country Georgia (a country in Asia). I hope this does not offend you. Greetings, Vseferović 07:07, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned fair use image (Image:Ispaster.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Ispaster.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Basque wikiproject
Hi Joe; please be advised that changing the order of tags as you did in the Basque Country talk page may be seen as POV pushing and, in any case, for sure out of wikiquette and thus it could be reverted. Thanks Mountolive 00:44, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
