Jon Glass (born 1972) is a multimedia journalist and instructor originally from Brewton, Ala.
Life and Career edit
Glass joined the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 2007 as the general manager of the Collaborative Media Room. He teaches the Web Journalism and Innovation course that focuses on current media issues and multimedia storytelling, plus serves as executive producer for The NewsHouse, a student-produced, multimedia website for news, sports and what's happening at Syracuse University. Prior to Newhouse, Glass was the online content director for The Palm Beach Post, where he spent 11 years in the newsroom and online departments.
Glass is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he earned a B.S. in journalism and minor in education.
