Hi

I'm a very occasional Wikipedian. My name is John Little.

I still need to get my head around WP guidelines and principles, especially WP:V. How does one decide whether material is “likely to be challenged”? In the scientific method, in principle almost everything can and should be challenged. IANAL but in law it seems if there's enough money in it anything can be challenged. Also, IMO Wikipedia tends to be too encyclopaedic; the threshold for inclusion should include "usefulness" or "helpfulness", at least while not controversial.
