Jacob Hooper, born October 25, 1999, is a junior at Hillsdale College studying History and Rhetoric. He was born in Commerce Township, MI to William and Barbara Hooper. He graduated from Hudsonville High School in 2018. During the summer of 2019, Hooper served as a legislative intern for Republican Congressman Bill Huizenga (R-Michigan). In December of 2019, Andrew Fink, then local attorney in Hillsdale, MI, offered Hooper the position of campaign manager for Fink's 2020 bid in the Republican primary for state representative in Michigan's 58th House District. During the summer of 2020, Hooper lived in Hillsdale and oversaw the finances, mailing, and field operations of the campaign. Hooper was the only employee of the campaign and ended his tenure on August 13, nine days after winning the election.[1]
