Hello there,

My name is Jeff, and I live in the Washington, D.C. metro area.

  • Whenever I have a conflict of interest related to other organizations or companies (e.g. I know people who work at a particular company, or I have any form of financial conflict of interest related to a company or organization), I will always take great care to disclose this in conversations across Wikipedia. I have also disclosed these conflicts using the UserboxCOI template below.
  • I have read all of Wikipedia's policies on neutral point of view, conflict of interest, and Conflict-of-interest editing on Wikipedia. I also understand that Wikipedia articles are not owned by anyone--meaning that the community as a whole owns articles, not individuals or companies.
  • To that end, I will refrain from making edits to any Wikipedia articles related to my employer or other companies I have connections with. Instead, I will disclose my conflict of interest on the discussion (or, Talk) pages of Wikipedia and will submit changes for other editors here to review and consider. I won't edit articles related to any companies myself.

If you have any feedback or questions for me, I am generally quite responsive. My aim is to provide assistance (through Talk pages only; not by editing) so that Wikipedia articles related to notable companies and organizations are brought up to Wikipedia's standards.
