The Commonwealth of Cassiopeia (Japanese: カシオペア連邦, Hepburn: Kashiopea Renpō) is a micronation located in the northern region of Iwate Prefecture. The five neighboring municipalities of Ichinohe, Ninohe, Kunohe, Karumai, and Jōbōji (which merged into Ninohe in 2006)
Etymology edit
The commonwealth is named after the Cassiopeia constellation. Its five stars symbolize the five districts that make up the commonwealth.
