Historique edit

HERE IS PARIS ![1] My first contribution to wikipedia was on Jordanus Nemorarius not that one... (See on fr.wilipedia.org) It seems to give a little plus to this page. Look at the history !

This page was my first work here

I have done others, about De Moivre, Parseval... Viète (my favorit subject). But, in fact... I begun seriously to work with two pages : Mary Cartwright and Gustav Roch, wich did'nt exist in french (in june 2009).

After that, i have created Chronologie de l'algèbre, and done many changes on Jordanus Nemorarius, Johannes Hispalensis, De Moivre.

My second, my third... are here : [2] [3]

I am very proud of that one because it seems better than the english's one. [4]

I'd like to give to WPfr and Wpen (as far it's possible) some serious contribution to the history of mathematic.

One of my aims is to give mathématicians their right place in history. For instance, in France, François Viète or in Germany Hermann Grassmann. Do you know Johannes Hispalensis ?

In the XXI th century Michel Chasles had stongly impulsed a positiv mouvement (in France) for that study Alas, the reason we suffer, even nowadays, not to have a better historic school (about mathématic) is perhaps related with the foolish way Chasles acted in front of Lucas Vrain.

Ego edit

As you may have guessed, I am an ordinary mathematician and an amateur historian.

Shame on me. I apologize: my English is not quite good enough to chat with you much longer.
