About Me
editMy name is James Langridge. I'm interested in law and languages: I have an undergraduate degree in French; I'm a UK-qualified solicitor; I have a master's degree in Legal Translation; and I'm studying for a master's degree in International Intellectual Property Law.
By day, I work at the IFRS Foundation, managing intellectual property contracts and translation projects.
In my spare time, I'm managing the translation of fundamental health care articles, as part of the WikiProject Medicine Translation Taskforce[1], into these languages:
- Armenian
- Assamese
- Bengali
- Gujarati
- Japanese
- Javanese
- Kannada
- Korean
- Kurdish
- Malayalam
- Marathi
- Nepali
- Oriya
- Punjabi
- Tamil
- Telugu
- Thai
- Turkish
- Urdu
We desperately need more volunteer translators in these languages. If you would like to contribute, please contact me on my talk page or by email.
