John Aitken (born 2 April 1962) and was born in Lanark is a member of the Scottish Nationalist in the Scotland he is a writer of Non League Football Travel Guides in Scotland and also writes Non League Travel Guides for Englandfrom Level 5 of the pyramid to Level 10. For 2013/14 season the Non League guide has been added to by the inclusion of the Football League teams.

editAitken's parents were Robert Smellie Aitken, a former Mathamitician, and Catherine Gifford Aitken, daughter of Daniel McCormark. Aitken is a is a first cousin four times removed of newspaper magnate and war-time minister Max Aitken, 1st Baron Beaverbrook (Lord Beaverbrook).
He has written books since 1990 on football as a hobby and has been updating the Travel Guides to football grounds since 1996. He has been to all the Non League Grounds to Level 9 in England completed all the grounds of the Scottish Football League as well as all the Non League Grounds, as well as the League of Wales plus Division 1 in Wales Football League Structure and all the senior league in the Northern Ireland Football League from Premier to Division 2
