Greetings.
My interests are in the history, culture, and genealogy of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, as well as points north and east (whence the people came) and south and west (where they went). My most intense interest is in the colonial through pre-Civil War eras, after which it drops of sharply (though that may change).
Be not alarmed, for though I am a genealogist, I have little tolerance for genealogy cruft on Wikipedia (thanks to Kevin Myers for the technical term). I admit up front that, to my knowledge, my ancestors, admirable people that they were, did nothing that warrants inclusion in any Wikipedia article.
