Quiet Logistics article
Recently I created and submitted an article about a company named Quiet Logistics. The person who reviewed the article, Chetsford, expressed concern that I might have been compensated for creating it. As I posted to my Talk Page, "I understand [his/her] concern regarding compensation. However, I'm not being compensated for creating it. Quiet Logistics does not know about the article nor that I created it. (I'm the only person who knows who created it and Chetsford and I are most likely the only two people to have ever read it.) 17 years ago I worked with the founders of Quiet while at EXE Technologies."
Patrick Beon article edits
I'm in the process of fleshing out a "stub" article on former French professional cyclist Patrick Beon. My affiliation with Patrick is that in 1981/82 I rode on an amateur cycling team (UC Cesson-Sevigne) coached by Patrick and his brother Gerard. I was in high school at the time and living abroad in Rennes, France. Both Patrick and Gerard were very welcoming and patient with me as I struggled to understand what was going on around me, both in training rides and races. When I first inquired about joining their team, I had no idea as to Patrick's level of riding. It was only after a clerk at their store - they owned and operated a bicycle store in Cesson-Sevigne, a suburb of Rennes - took me to a back showroom and showed me Patrick's professional team jerseys and photos of him did I realize that he was a significant figure in French cycling. Patrick does not know that I'm editing his page and I am not being compensated for doing so. I have not communicated with him since living in France 37 years ago.
