About me

edit

I am 24 years old and live in the PNW. I am a huge fan of soccer, anime and music. I've been playing soccer since I can remember. The impact soccer has had on my life is astonishing. It really molded me into the person I am today. I really enjoy all types of music ranging from Corridos, Which is a form of Latin American music, to Rap and Indie. Lastly my favorite anime is probably One Piece, but it is too hard for me to have an all time favorite.

My Wikipedia Interests

edit

I really hope to expand my own knowledge, but also work on my writing skills. I hope to improve my ability to find intriguing, yet correct information for future papers and research. While also developing the skills to provide proper knowledge on topics for others.

Article Evaluation

edit

I recently visited the Wikipedia page for the Dungeons and Daddies podcast and found three aspects worth commenting on: its accuracy, its lack of updated references, and lack of links and pages for three of the other members in the podcast.

Accuracy

edit

The accuracy of the information on the Dungeons & Daddies podcast is up to date. It includes everything from their first campaign and the day it was released to the latest episodes and awards. It also does a good job explaining the plot, the roles of each cast member, and the info for every side quest included in their Patreon. There is even a link to their official Dungeons and Daddies website.

Lack of Updated References

edit

There are a lot of good references and citations that seemed to be updated and working, besides a couple that appeared to be dead links. The very first reference you click up takes you to a 404 error page. Most of the citations are back to the show, or music that was created by the show itself.

edit

I noticed a lack of links and pages for three out of four of the main podcast members. There are no links for Matt Arnold, Beth May, and Will Campos. Each of them have their own accomplishments. Matt Arnold is award-wining writer and director. He is also a co-founder of Rocketjump. Beth May is an actor and writer, and currently has a poetry book and a spoken word album. Finally Will Campos is television and feature film writer who has worked on Video Game High School, Rocketjump: The Show, and Dimension 404.

Conclusion

edit

Overall, I'd rate this page as "decent." The range of information for the page is up to date and extremely accurate, but a couple of the page sources are expired, so it makes it difficult to know unless you listen to the podcast to know if the information is trustworthy. There also isn't a ton of info on the host of the podcast and their achievements.
