Jane Bell Kiester is an educator, author, and linguist who taught primarily in Alachua and Marion Counties, Florida, held numerous teaching seminars across the United States, and authored a series of well-known grammar books used by teachers nationwide.

From 1950 to 1962, Kiester went through her elementary and secondary education in the Baltimore Public School system.

Between 1963 and 1966, Kiester did her three years of undergraduate studies in French, Spanish, and English Literature at Goucher College, Towson, Maryland.
