About Me

I'm a Californian by birth, but I lived in Massachusetts from the time I was 9 until I went to college. I also lived in Mexico for two years, doing missionary work for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I lived in various parts of México (state), Hidalgo, Queretaro, and (briefly) Veracruz (there was a time when my Spanish was better than my English).

I'm currently a sophomore at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, and am majoring in Physics (and considering a change to Philosophy), with minors in Logic and Military Science. I'm also a Private First Class in the Utah National Guard.

I'm a dedicated martial artist and member of the Association for Renaissance Martial Arts. I study the Longsword, Cut & Thrust (and Buckler), Rapier, Dagger, and unarmed and grappling techniques.

I also enjoy ballroom dancing and role-playing (particularly The Riddle of Steel, though I play Dungeons and Dragons as well). I'm an active participant in various online communities and message boards, where a Red Mage (such as the one to the right) is almost always my trademark.

I'm a relative newcomer to the Wikipedia, but I plan to bring the various articles on European Martial Arts up to speed.
