I might (as of yet unconfirmed) do a project to bring all prime ministers of Australia (and related articles) to GA status. I'll leave some notes regarding the article for me to refer to later. Feel free to add to this if I've missed anything.

Prime ministers edit

Edmund Barton - Had a GAN in 2007, failed due to a lack of detail about his judicial career and too much detail about the federation campaign. Needs a bit more detail for a GAN.

Alfred Deakin - Is very long in some areas, and then has almost no detail in others. His final stint as PM doesn't have much detail, and not much about Fusion/Commonwealth Liberal, his 1910-1913 stint as leader of the Opposition, and his legacy. Seems like someone expanded one half of the page but not the other.

Chris Watson - Missing a lot of detail. Wasn't PM for very long, however there could be some more about what he did and didn't do. A lot of things are mentioned in a single sentence. Needs more diverse sourcing.

George Reid - Literally nothing about his time as PM. Has sourcing issues, with a few unsourced statements. Lacking in depth.

Andrew Fisher - At GA status.

Joseph Cook - Decent amount of detail, except for PM section.

Billy Hughes - Pretty long, however needs more detail for a very influential political figure. Early life and arrival in Australia needs work. Legacy needs more detail.

Stanley Bruce - At FA status.

James Scullin - Had a failed GAN in 2013. Has issues to do with neutrality and sourcing. Needs a copyedit. GOCE can probably look at it after adding a bit more detail and sourcing.

Joseph Lyons - Needs more detail, especially about his involvement in state politics.

Robert Menzies - A lot more detail to be had when it comes to his time as PM. The Menzies Institute may be worth reaching out to for info and sourcing.

Arthur Fadden - Needs more detail about what happened as PM, as an Treasurer.

John Curtin - Had a peer review in 2019, which suggested many improvements. User that was working on it seems to have abandoned the project.

Ben Chifley - Needs more about his time in opposition, and the legislative achievements needs to be trimmed down.

Harold Holt - Probably needs more about his disappearance, conspiracy theories, and personal life.

John Gorton - Needs more about his time as Senator. Sourcing issues in areas.

William McMahon - Very short. Almost nothing about his time as Treasurer. Leaves a lot to be desired.

Gough Whitlam - At FA status.

Malcolm Fraser - Lacking detail in the first half of the article. PM part is short considering his tenure. Another biography or two may help.

Bob Hawke - Already in a pretty good state. Potentially a bit more about his time as PM.

Paul Keating - More about his time as Treasurer than time as PM. He's been quite active recently, which could be added to the article.

"Modern" prime ministers edit

The following PMs are much easier to source online because online news articles can be accessed from their time as PM.

John Howard (partially) - More about before he was PM is needed. Probably needs to be sourced from books.

Kevin Rudd - Economy section is very long compared to the rest of the PM section. Not much about his time as a shadow minister.

Julia Gillard - At GA status, and was promoted in 2016 - probably a good baseline to work from.

Tony Abbott - Time as prime minister is very lacking. Quite a bit of information about his time as Leader of the Opposition.

Malcolm Turnbull - I have his biography so sourcing is easier. Early political involvement and time in opposition can be extended. NPOV issues in some areas.

Scott Morrison - Is still in parliament and is expected to resign soon. Best to wait until he leaves parliament.

Anthony Albanese - Is PM. Hard to make it a GA if things are still happening.
