Solita Oy is a service company that specialises in demanding Business Intelligence and integration services and tailored software solutions. The company provides services to the following sectors: media, services and trade, telecom, industry and public.
History
editSolita was established by Heikki Halme in 1996. The company operated under the name Sensor Software Consulting until 2003, and initially focused on Java-based software solutions and products.[1]
In 2002, the company began to develop Business Intelligence solutions. Soon afterward, portals and integration services were also included in the company’s offering. Today Solita sells BI and integration solutions to a wide range of companies and organisations in Finland and abroad.
Solita has always been a profitable and fast-growing company. In 2009 the company’s turnover was € 13,5mil[1], and employed 170 people.
