He began his career as a singer and actor, notably in the television dramas click your heart (2016), School 2017 (2017). In 2015, He began a part of pre-debut team under FNC Entertainment, "Neoz School" as a member of the first group called NEOZ, he debuted in October 2016 with the group name SF9 and the single "Fanfare".
